4th Annual Giving Voice National Collective Leadership Gathering

Be a part of the growing global community of organizations that are using the irrepressible power of singing to improve the lives of people with dementia and their care partners through choral communities of joy.

This event is a chance to connect, learn and share. We will take this opportunity to reflect and look to the future! Add your voice to the message that there can still be joy after a dementia diagnosis.

With Special Guest Speakers

Dr. Gayartri Devi, MD MS FAAN will be zooming in for the afternoon keynote! Dr. Devi, Tony Bennett’s neurologist and author of The Spectrum of Hope, will discuss living well and improving brain health with Alzheimer’s.

Dr. Patricia Izbicki, PhD, our morning keynote, neuroscientist, and classically trained pianist, will discuss the latest research on the impact of music on brain health and neurodegenerative conditions such as dementia.

?Music! Our very own Cathy Reitz Trio will be performing and a group sing, led by the Twin Cities Beer Choir

This event is open to anyone involved with a chorus for people living with Alzheimer’s Disease or another form of dementia or looking to start one. We also welcome people that are interested in the impact of music on the well being of people living with dementia.

⭐ In person in for the full two day experience with meals and social gathering at the beautiful, historic Westminster Presbyterian Church in downtown Minneapolis

Not able to attend in person? Join us virtually!

⭐ Virtual Option – live stream for Friday event with guest speakers, and selected breakout sessions, all recorded breakouts post gathering.

Looking for CEUs? Certificates of Attendance will be given to conference attendees to submit to their professional
