This summer’s Giving Voice National Leadership Gathering was a great success. We are so grateful for the opportunity to gather together and learn from each other to develop new ways to grow and promote choruses for people with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Special thanks to Dr. Antonio Cuyler for his presentation on Access, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI), Karen Brunssen for her presentation on Vocal Tips for the Aging Voice, Angela Lunde from The Mayo Clinic Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center for her welcoming remarks, Vicky Jacobs for leading us in song all the way from Australia , and our amazing planning team for bringing it all together.
