Depending on how you use this website, we may ask you to provide some or all of the following personal information:
Some information you provide (when making an online donation, for example) is collected by a third party that GVI has engaged to provide certain services on its behalf. That party’s handling of your information will be governed by its own privacy and security policies. Cookies – A “cookie” is a small data file that a website may send to your browser and that may then be stored on your hard drive. Our website uses cookies that allow your computer to “remember” information about your preferences and session, and allow you to move within areas of our websites without reintroducing yourself. No personally identifiable information is stored in these cookies. Both “session ID” and “persistent” cookies may be used in a site. A session ID cookie will expire at the time you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time and may be set to store your passwords so you do not have to enter it more than once. Persistent cookies can be removed by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “Help” file.
Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent; however, some GVI applications may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.
Log Information – Our servers automatically record information your browser sends whenever you visit a site. We do not record personal information during this process. The server records may include information such as your internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser language, refer/exit pages, your operating system, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
Our website may use other technologies to track and analyze user activity on our site. We use this information to track the number of visitors to our site and determine which pages are visited most often, how visitors navigate through our site, and the domains from which visitors access the site. We may also analyze the data internally to help us determine how to provide more useful information to visitors.
This Privacy Policy may be revised or updated by GVI at any time. The revisions will be posted on this site.
GVI wants your information and preferences to be accurate and complete. To update or change your information, you can send your updated information to info@givingvoicechorus.org.
Users who register to receive emails from GVI may request to be removed from our e-mail list at any time. We will honor your request, and this will not affect individualized communications directed to you.
If you have questions about our Privacy Policy, please email us at info@givingvoicechorus.org.
