Don't Forget! Citizen Science THIS TUESDAY at 11am!

Sing in a Giving Voice Chorus today! We have five Giving Voice Choruses in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. And no, you don't have to have any singing experience! Giving Voice works hard to make a chorale experience that is inclusive to all regardless of musical ability. The program is fine tuned to the needs of people living with Alzheimer's or other dementias and their care partners. Join us for a welcoming, fun, and supportive experience.

Community

Living as a care partner can be as isolating as living with the diagnosis. At Giving Voice, care partners can connect with others going through the same thing.

Creative Expression

The care partner responsibility can be exhausting. Giving Voice offers an opportunity to let go, feel joyful, and express any difficult emotions through music.

Engaged Respite

We have committed volunteers in each chorus who sit next to each person living with dementia during rehearsal, providing respite of care.

Care Partner Benefits

Community

Living with dementia can be isolating, coming together to sing and socialize reminds participants they are not alone.

Purpose

Giving Voice gives back a sense of value and purpose that a dementia diagnosis can so easily take away.

Physical & Emotional
Well-Being

From acting as a natural dopamine promoter to igniting stronger physical movements, music is proven to improve physical & emotional well-being.

Benefits for People Living with Dementia

This is more than just singing, this a
wellness movement.
