Welcome to Giving Voice Chorus, Minneapolis
Welcome to our chorus! We created some special lyrics to one of our favorite songs. Take a listen, and we’re sure you’ll agree that “Giving Voice is the place to be.”
At Giving Voice Minneapolis, we like to say, “There is no wrong in the room.” If you are living with dementia and looking for a place that wants to cheer you on, look no further.
Our chorus is made up of people living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, care-partners, and volunteers. More than a chorus, we are a community. Music brings us together.
“I can do this. YOU can do this. WE can do this.” We want to focus on what we can do. We want to focus on what’s possible.
Our chorus is run through a partnership with MacPhail Center for Music in downtown Minneapolis. If you are driving to Minneapolis, there is on-street parking available, or you’ll find parking at The Depot Hotel and Event Center across the street.
